Item Experimental Study of the Influence of Vibration on the Microstructure of the Weld of a Pipe Billet(Sergeieva&Co, Karlsruhe, Germany, 2021) Balakin, Valeriy F.; Kadylnykova, Tetyana M.; Savkyn, Svyatoslav V.; Kadylnykova, Anastasia V.ENG: The article discusses the results of an experimental study of the microstructure of the weld metal of pipe billets subjected to vibration processing during the welding process. The experimental study was divided into the following stages: welding of longitudinal preformed pipe blanks using vibration action; production of thin sections and study of their microstructure in the zones of the welded seam; processing of the data obtained during the experiment. When studying the microstructure, special attention was paid to the areas of overheating and normalization, as the areas of the heat-affected zone most characterizing the quality of the weld. The tendency of change in the grain size of the weld metal at various frequencies of vibration used in the welding process, as well as in its absence, has been investigated. An important place in the study was given to the study of the degree of graininess of the studied structure.Item Experimental Study of the Process of Welding of Pipe Bills under Vibration Impact(D.A. Tsenov Academy of Economics, Svishtov, Bulgaria, 2021) Balakin, Valeriy F.; Savkyn, Svyatoslav V.; Kadylnykova, Tetyana M.; Kadylnykova, Anastasia V.ENG: The article proposes an effective way to reduce the residual stresses arising in the welded seams of pipes, based on the use of vibration in the welding process. The experimental study was divided into the following stages: welding of longitudinal preformed pipe blanks using vibration action; fixing the value of residual stresses in the weld and the heat-affected zone of the samples obtained during the experiment; the processing of the data obtained during the experiment. Measurements were carried out in the cross-section of the samples, which made it possible to obtain data on the residual stresses contained in the weld, near-seam zone, and the base metal of the pipe. The tendency of changes in residual stresses at various frequencies of vibration, as well as in its absence, has been investigated, which made it possible to estimate, in percentage terms, the efficiency of removing residual stresses depending on the frequency of vibration.Item Mathematical Model of a Pipe Welded Connection under Vibration(Дніпровський державний технічний університет, Кам’янське, 2021) Balakin, Valeriy F.; Kadylnykova, T.; Savkyn, S.ENG: The article discusses the theoretical foundations for improving pipe welding processes through the use of vibration. A mathematical model of a pipe welded joint has been constructed, which makes it possible to determine the residual stresses in welded seams exposed to vibration during the welding process and the optimal time of vibration exposure. The constructed mathematical model makes it possible to obtain analytical values of residual stresses for each specific processed object having data on the natural vibration frequency, vibration damping coefficient, amplitude and frequency of the driving force of vibration.
