Despite their relatively recent history of appearance, they managed to undergo many modifications of both physical and chemical components. One of the constant goals of all research in this field is the formation of knowledge about the degradation processes occurring inside a given chemical current source, and ways to influence them. Systematization and identification of the fundamental reasons for the decrease in the performance of lithium batteries still remains a topical issue of today, and therefore is considered in this article. And no matter how studied this issue looks, taking into account the existing many long-term experimental data of a huge number of scientists and a number of different types of companies, but still, optimization of work is impossible without identifying and eliminating as many destructive factors as possible in battery operation. The difficulty of this process lies also in the fact that, taking into account all the high-tech production processes in the world, there are no two identical lithium current sources. On the example of a single battery, the ability to maintain high performance, close to nominal, was demonstrated from a source that, due to its lifetime, should not have had them. The data obtained during the experiment, which confirmed the high performance, show once again that the issue of degradation of lithium current sources can and should be studied further.Item Analysis of Operation of Railway Communication Systems(Дніпровський національний університет залізничного транспорту імені академіка В. Лазаряна, Дніпро, 2019) Botnarevscaia, R.; Serdiuk, Tetiana M.ENG: Actuality. Technological progress, which has rapidly burst into our lives, dictates its own rules. There is a need to modernize the railway infrastructure, which, in its current equipment, built in 70-80 years of the last century, is morally and technically obsolete. Considering the huge volumes of work to be done, we come to the understanding that it is not possible to carry out such modernization in a short time, both from a financial point of view and from a technical point of view. New electronic equipment introduced in various fields requires careful testing for electromagnetic compatibility. Ensuring safety in the transport of passengers and goods depends on this. So, the scientific work deals with the analysis of operation of railway communication systems are actuality. The object of research is railway communication lines. The main purpose is to evaluate the quality of different kinds of railway communication and the reasons of noise and interference in these systems. It was carried out the follows in the paper: the reasons of appearance noises in the telecommunication channels (radio and wire communications) were analyzed; the main faults in the overhead communication lines and their influence on the quality of communication were evaluated; the electromagnetic interferences in the communication lines and their frequency diapasons were researched; the further ways of investigation and simulation of influence traction and non-traction systems on the communication channels were described. The algorithms of definition of parameters of track circuit (ТС) are elaborated. As a result, the develop hardware-software apparatuses allows you to define by the EMF induced in the two receiving coils separately, the following quantities: the magnitude of the code current for the entire length of the track circuit, the duration of the pulses and pauses for all parcels of code, determine the type of code signal and the type of code track transmitter, coordinate, the length of the TC, serviceability of insulating junctions and electrical connectors. The results of measurements of EMF induced in each of the receiving coils apart, the spectral composition of the noise occurring in the traction network, and harmonic amplitude and impulse noise, the causes of noise in the rail network can be revealed. Algorithm for checking the status of the track circuit involves determining the state of the track circuit and it is carried out on the current curve of the locomotive signalling depending on the coordinates obtained from the measurements. Underestimated the value of ALS current compared with the calculated value indicates an undervalued ballast resistance. The test of offered measuring apparatuses were executed on the Pridneprovsky railway.Item Automatic Method for Monitoring the Lower Ionosphere and Lightning Location by Tweek-Atmospherics(Університет прикладних наук Інхолланд, Голландія, 2018) Shvets, Аleksandr V.; Krivonos, Alexey P.; Serdiuk, Tetiana M.; Hayakawa, M.ENG: A new real-time technique is proposed for automatic identification of tweek atmospherics, distance finding to lightning and estimating the effective heights of the lower ionosphere for the fundamental and higher order modes of the Earth-ionosphere waveguide. V.; Hobara, Y.; Hayakawa, M.EN: There is proposed a new method of estimating the effective ionospheric height of the Earth-ionosphere waveguide and the propagation distance of tweek-atmospherics. It is based on the compensation of waveguide frequency dispersion of a tweek signal, which enables us to improve the accuracy of deducing the cutoff frequencies, especially in the presence of noise. An approach to solve the inverse problem is suggested that reduces the task of finding both the source range and the waveguide cutoff frequencies by using the multimode characteristics of tweeks to an issue of one-dimensional optimization. Based on the numerical modeling of multimode tweek-atmospherics in the Earth-ionosphere waveguide with exponential vertical conductivity profile of the lower ionosphere, it was shown that the accuracy of estimating the effective waveguide height by the new method is good as about 100-400. m for the first and higher order modes. It then allows us to estimate the parameters of vertical conductivity profile of the lower ionosphere for a wide range of source distances from a few hundred to a few thousand kilometers, as long as two or more tweek harmonics can be detected. Preliminary analysis of experimental tweek records show a decrease of the effective height with increasing the mode number, and the scale height of the exponential vertical conductivity profile for the isotropic lower ionosphere model is estimated to be in a range of 0.4-2.5. km. © 2013 .Item Features of Electromagnetic Compatibility in Railway Transport(IEEE Publication Recommender, 2023) Serdiuk, Tetiana M.; Buriak, Serhii Yu.; Serdiuk, Svitlana; Gololobova, Oksana O.; Serdiuk, Kseniia; Skalko, Viktor; Voznyak, Oleh M.ENG: The paper is devoted to the study of the causes of electromagnetic interference on railways, methods for their determination and combating them. Лазаряна, Дніпро, 2019) Taghizade, Ansari Hossein; Serdiuk, Tetiana M.; Mysiv, IvanENG: In Ukraine, almost half of the railway lines are electrified. In railway network, there are automatic devices by w ich traffic of trains and safety on the railway are regulated. However, there are some faults in these automatic devices that can put the passengers and the railway system’s safety at risk. The main sources of these faults are the presence of the stray currents, harmonics, and the electromagnetic interferences. For investigation of these faults, having an accurate model of the railway network is vital. So the topic of research is actuality now. The main goal of this paper is to study the propagation of traction current harmonics on feeder zone (section between substations) and to define the interference on code current flowing in rail lines. Thus, it is necessary to carry out a mathematic model of the traction supply net. Also some scientific work was addressed to determine the traction current spectrum composition and the most dangerous harmonics for TC operations. This paper introduce a mathematical model of the railway network, which can be helpful in analysis of the impact of these faults on the railway network. It was considered as 8-poles for the one-track railway traction. As mentioned before, one of the main steps to investigate the electromagnetic interferences' impact on automatic devices of the railway system is the accurate model of traction network. The proposed model can be used when the electric locomotive current divides into two different current which flow in traction lines. Moreover, a system of differential equation regarding the proposed model was written and a solution to this system was introduced. All rail currents and the return current can be calculated from the above solution. Therefore, the impact of electromagnetic interferences on these current can be investigated.Item Improvement of Technical Service of Track Circuits(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IEEE, 2019) Serdiuk, Tetiana M.; Kuznetsov, Vitaliy V.; Serdiuk, Kseniia; Nikolenko, Anatoliy V.; Kuznetsova, Yevheniia; Kuznetsova, AlisaENG: The automated method of measuring the time and amplitude parameters of code current and parameters of track circuits (input impedance of the track circuit, a characteristic impedance, a propagation constant) were elaborated. The paper concerns topical problem of mathematical modeling of dynamics of heterogeneous groups with a logistic function as a basic one. Joint use of mathematical models of biological systems and computer-based simulation makes it possible to minimize time and save material resources while determining general tendencies of subpopulation progress; and to forecast state of the system as well as possible consequences of artificial intervention in the environment. Among other things, it concerns forecasting of genetic abnormalities. The paper proposes a model of dynamics of progress of a population consisting of n subpopulations. The model is represented in the form of differential equations with transition coefficients within their right sides. The transition coefficients mirror the share of species getting from ith subpopulation to jth one. The proposed system is not Voltairian one since its phase trajectories may cross coordinate axes. It has been proved that the system of differential equations is degenerated in the neighbourhood of equilibrium points. Analysis of the system of differential equations for n=2 has demonstrated a potential for three bifurcations. It has been proved that nine bifurcation types are possible for n=3. Numerical computer-based experiments have shown that the proposed model is stable as for the disturbance of its coefficients, and the obtained characteristics of the degenerated system are close to real ones.Item Modernization of the Power Supply System Applying Solar Cells and Batteries(MATEC Web of Conferences, 2024) Serdiuk, Tetiana M.; Serchenko, Maksym; Radkevych, Anatolii V.; Serdiuk, Svitlana; Skalko, ViktorENG: In this paper, an assessment was made of the installation of solar panels as a backup power source for the Post of electric centralization. An analysis of all the most widely represented lithium battery technologies was carried out with an assessment of their main parameters. The research was aimed at studying the performance characteristics of the six most common technologies for the production of chemical power sources using lithium, which are currently the most developed and are manufactured on a mass production scale. A comparative analysis showed that the features of each of them should be taken into account in order to optimize the choice of parameters for batteries with different technologies when solving various industrial and household problems, since this approach will make it possible to further use their differences with the greatest efficiency. The most suitable areas for practical application of each type of lithium battery are given, taking into account the individual characteristics of their performance. Also, from a practical point of view of highly efficient use of electrical energy storage devices, as a constant consumer of especially large volumes of energy carriers, the transport industry is considered, which has a great interest in improving technologies in order to improve the quality of equipment, increase the safety of the transportation process and the economic efficiency of the type of activity being carried out. This analysis was carried out using the example of their use in backup power supply systems for railway automatics devices. The advantages of replacing backup power sources based on the traditional method of storing electrical energy using lead-acid batteries with batteries made using lithium technology are shown. At the same time, to determine the appropriate technology, the specifics of the application conditions were first taken into account, since this type of energy source belongs to the category of guaranteed energy supply. The research results obtained allow us to compare lithium batteries to identify selection criteria for specific tasks based on their performance characteristics.Item A Technique for Automatic Monitoring the Lower Ionosphere and Lightning Location by Tweekatmospherics(Guwahati: IJEAR Department of Physics Gauhati University, 2017) Shvets, Аleksandr V.; Krivonos, A. As a result of the analysis of technologies and methods for the treatment of surfaces with specified parameters, a jet-abrasive method was reasonably adopted, which allows texturing surfaces with high productivity. To optimize the processing modes using this method, a mathematical model has been developed for the interaction of abrasive particles with the surface of a copper lamella. The optimization criterion was the microrelief of the surface, the removal of the material appeared as a restriction. In addition, full-scale optimization was carried out for clearly not present technological parameters in a mathematical model, such as abrasive concentration and processing time.Experimental studies were carried out that confirmed the adequacy of the simulation and the correctness of the chosen technology. On this basis, an experimental batch of collector nodes was manufactured under production conditions. In this batch, the three nodes were made of textured copper lamellas, and three - control, according to factory technology.Manufacturing tests have shown that texturing surfaces with an increase in roughness without removing the material and without changing the geometric parameters of the profile allows in the zone of contact of copper lamellae with insulating plates to increase the coefficient of static friction, which leads to an increase in pressing force and, thus, obtain guaranteed tension and solidity collector site.
