Abstract
UKR: В статті обгрунтовано актуальність та важливість дослідження питання економічної безпеки страхових компаній. Авторами доведено, що забезпечення економічної безпеки страхової компанії є постійним процесом, який вимагає непереривного моніторингу та адаптації до нових викликів та умов. Авторами статті досліджені сучасні підходи до визначення сутності поняття "економічна безпека страхової компанії". На основі проведеного аналізу та дослідження сучасних наукових публікацій, авторами сформулюване власне бачення сутності "економічна безпека страхової компанії". Авторами статті обгрунтовані фактори, від яких залежить економічна безпека страхових компаній та надана їх коротка характеристика. Авторами запропоновано узагальнення основних елементів економічної безпеки страхової компанії та елементів механізму управління нею. Запропоновані елементи представляють лише загальний огляд того, що може включати в себе економічна безпека страхової компанії. Автори вважають, що реальний набір складових може змінюватися в залежності від конкретних умов та стратегій кожної компанії.
ENG: The article substantiates the relevance and importance of studying the issue of economic security of insurance companies. The authors prove that ensuring the economic security of an insurance company is an ongoing process that requires continuous monitoring and adaptation to new challenges and conditions. The authors of the article have studied modern approaches to defining the essence of the concept of "economic security of an insurance company" and have identified two key ones, in the authors' opinion: 1) the economic security of insurance companies is considered as ensuring national interests, resilience to threats, and expanded reproduction; 2) the study of economic security of insurance companies through the key functions of an insurance company, in particular, fulfilment of financial obligations, risk management, portfolio balancing, and ensuring the growth of investment capital. Based on the analysis and research of modern scientific publications, the authors formulate their own vision of the essence of "economic security of an insurance company", which includes financial stability, effective risk management, compliance with legislation and standards. The authors of the article substantiate the factors on which the economic security of insurance companies depends and provide a brief description of them. Among these factors, the authors highlight the key ones: the ability to adapt to changes, risk management and resilience to economic challenges, which is especially relevant in connection with current challenges, in particular, military operations. The authors propose a generalisation of the main elements of economic security of an insurance company and elements of its management mechanism. The proposed elements represent only a general overview of what the economic security of an insurance company may include. The authors believe that the actual set of components may vary depending on the specific conditions and strategies of each company. In the authors' opinion, prospects for further research in this area may include studying the impact of global events on the economic security of insurance companies, developing integrated approaches to assessing the level of economic security of insurance companies, and analysing the impact of local and international regulatory changes on economic security.
