| dc.description.abstract | UKR: У статті досліджено роль фразових дієслів у сучасній англійській мові, а також особливості їхнього перекладу українською. Фразові дієслова є невід’ємною частиною англомовного спілкування та виражають складні смислові відтінки, зокрема в розмовній мові. На прикладі сценарію британського міні-серіалу «Північ і Південь» (2004) автори розглядають значення і використання фразових дієслів, а також труднощі, з якими стикаються перекладачі при їхньому адаптуванні. Складність фразових дієслів полягає в їхній ідіоматичності, що часто ускладнює розуміння та точне відтворення українською мовою. У статті підкреслено важливість лексико-семантичного аналізу для адекватного перекладу та виявлено особливості позиціонування об’єктів у фразових дієсловах. Також досліджено роль стилістичних аспектів та емоційного забарвлення, що впливає на вибір еквівалентів під час перекладу. Вивчення фразових дієслів з когнітивно-комунікативної точки зору дозволяє краще зрозуміти їхнє місце у мовній картині світу. Автори аналізують мову як систему, що постійно еволюціонує, що дозволяє виявити зміни у функціонуванні мовних одиниць в умовах синхронії. Основну увагу зосереджено на комунікативно-когнітивних особливостях фразових дієслів, які, порівняно з основними дієсловами, демонструють вищий потенціал для вираження структурної репрезентації знань. З огляду на те, що фразові дієслова є економною формою комунікації, для їхнього коректного використання потрібні мовна і комунікативна компетентність. Розгляд міжкультурних аспектів дозволяє краще розуміти особливості їхнього вживання в англомовному середовищі, адже комунікація базується на спільному знанні реалій. У статті підкреслено важливість дослідження лексико-семантичних особливостей фразових дієслів для формування повнішої мовної картини світу, що дозволяє виявити закономірності їхньої семантичної взаємодії й еволюції. За результатами дослідження встановлено, що фразові дієслова відрізняються від простих дієслів, оскільки дозволяють виражати думки більш точно й виразно. Вони є необхідними для природного спілкування і правильного розуміння англійських текстів. Переклад фразових дієслів потребує особливої уваги, зокрема використання різноманітних трансформацій з урахуванням прагматично-стилістичних аспектів. | uk_UA |
| dc.description.abstract | ENG: The article examines the role of phrasal verbs in modern English and the peculiarities of their translation into Ukrainian. Phrasal verbs are an integral part of English-language communication and express complex semantic shades, in particular in spoken language. Using the script of the British mini-series North and South (2004) as an example, the authors discuss the meaning and use of phrasal verbs, as well as the difficulties translators face when adapting them. The complexity of phrasal verbs lies in their idiomatic nature, which often makes them difficult to understand and reproduce accurately in Ukrainian. The article emphasizes the importance of lexical and semantic analysis for adequate translation and reveals the peculiarities of object positioning in phrasal verbs. The role of stylistic aspects and emotional coloring, which influence the choice of equivalents in translation, is also investigated. The study of phrasal verbs from a cognitive-communicative point of view allows us to better understand their place in the linguistic picture of the world. The authors analyze language as a constantly evolving system, which allows us to identify changes in the functioning of linguistic units in synchrony. The main attention is focused on the communicative and cognitive features of phrasal verbs, which, in comparison with basic verbs, demonstrate a higher potential for expressing the structural representation of knowledge. Given that phrasal verbs are an economical form of communication, their correct use requires linguistic and communicative competence. Consideration of intercultural aspects allows us to better understand the peculiarities of their use in the English-speaking environment, since communication is based on a common knowledge of realities. The article emphasizes the importance of studying the lexical and semantic features of phrasal verbs for the formation of a more complete linguistic picture of the world, which allows us to identify the patterns of their semantic interaction and evolution. The study has shown that phrasal verbs differ from simple verbs because they allow expressing thoughts more accurately and expressively. They are essential for natural communication and correct understanding of English texts. The translation of phrasal verbs requires special attention, in particular the use of various transformations taking into account pragmatic and stylistic aspects. | en |
