| dc.description.abstract | ENG: This study discusses the contribution of developing student librarian programs as initiatives for social responsibility and non-formal education undertaken by higher education institutions. The aim of this research is to explain the concept of student librarians as extracurricular activities for students in schools, as well as the impact of this program as a university's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The research method used is qualitative, with the research process encompassing preparation, training for elementary school students, and evaluation. The research took place in the village of Kawali Ciamis in collaboration with the Forum Taman Baca Ganda Ciamis. The results of the study show that there is interest and support from both schools and the reading park forum, indicating a new form of non-formal education that should exist in schools. Student librarians represent a form of non-formal education aimed at cultivating children's reading interests, literacy skills, and library usage from a young age. As a result, it can become an extracurricular activity that fosters students' reading interests and encourages peer-to-peer reading engagement. Developing the student librarian program as a non-formal education initiative within university libraries, also as a form of CSR, has the potential to make a sustainable contribution to enhancing literacy and empowering communities. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | UKR: У цьому дослідженні обговорюється внесок розвитку програм студентських бібліотек як ініціатив соціальної відповідальності та неформальної освіти, що здійснюються вищими навчальними закладами. Метою дослідження є пояснення концепції студентських бібліотек як позакласної діяльності для учнів у школах, а також вплив цієї програми як ініціативи з корпоративної соціальної відповідальності (КСВ) університету. Використаний метод дослідження – якісний, процес дослідження охоплює підготовку, проведення тренінгів для учнів початкових класів та оцінювання. Дослідження проводилося в селищі Кавалі Чаміш у співпраці з Форумом Тамань Бака Ганда Чаміш. Результати дослідження показують, що існує зацікавленість і підтримка як з боку шкіл, так і з боку форуму "Парк читання", що свідчить про нову форму неформальної освіти, яка повинна існувати в школах. Студентські бібліотекарі представляють форму неформальної освіти, спрямовану на розвиток у дітей читацьких інтересів, навичок грамотності та користування бібліотекою з раннього віку. Як наслідок, це може стати позакласним заходом, що сприяє розвитку читацьких інтересів учнів та заохочує їх до читання за принципом "рівний-рівному". Розвиток програми студентського бібліотекаря як ініціативи неформальної освіти в університетських бібліотеках, а також як форми КСВ, має потенціал зробити сталий внесок у підвищення грамотності та розширення можливостей громад. | uk_UA |
