Item Development a Forecasting Method of Friction Pairs Wear of the Current Collection(Wydawnictwo Instytutu Kolejnictwa, Warszawa, 2017) Antonov, Andrii V.; Bolshakov, Yu. L.; Sychenko, Viktor G.EN: Development a forecasting method of friction pairs wear of the current collection on electric rail transport.Relevance. The most costly in the operation of the electrified railway transport are maintenance and repair of contact networks and pantographs. The costs magnitude depends of the catenary type, electric rolling stock, materials of the friction pair "contact wire – contact strip" and environment parameters. For today there is no consensus regarding the choice of the pantograph contact strips type for the specific operating conditions of the electric rolling stock. Therefore, the resource elements of the friction pair inefficiently used. A solution to this problem would be to a forecasting method of friction pairs wear of the current collection. Scientific novelty. Developed a method forecasting wear of contact wires and contact strips basis on the of the neural network model. To build a neural network was used the experimental dependences and was taken into account the change pressing force of the pantograph along span of the catenary, current value, current collecting elements type and modify the parameters environment. Practical importance. The proposed method allows to estimate the wear of the contact pair without the necessity for additional bench tests. This will significantly increase the effectiveness of the design new and modernization of already-exploited contact network sections.Item Increased Controllability of the Distributed Traction System in Emergency Mode(IEEE, 2020) Sychenko, Viktor G.; Antonov, Andrii V.; Liashuk, Vitalij; Rudevich, Nataliia; Belukhin, Dmitry; Danylov, Oleksiy; Kosariev, Yevhen; Bozhko, VladimirEN: The puprose of the work is to improve approaches to the controllability of power consumption in distributed power systems of electric rolling stock using modern technologies and equipment. Unequal energy consumption on the shoulders of the power supply causes additional losses in the system and makes the voltage mode worse on the current collectors of electric locomotives. To increase the controllability of operation modes, is proposed to use feeder volt-additional converters with arcless commutation of short-circuit currents. Using such converters allow to stabilize the voltage on the current collectors of electric locomotives and reduce the switching-off time. Variant calculations using the proposed circuit engineering of traction substations on the simulation model prove that the power losses from the equalizing currents are significantly reducedItem Investigation of the Physical and Mechanical Parameters Interconnection of Pantograph Contact Elements(National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kiev Polytechnic Institute", Kiev, 2019) Antonov, Andrii V.EN: The aim of the work is to establish therelationship between hardness and volume resistivity of the current collectors contact elements of electric rolling stock. Was conducted statistical analysis of the data result of numerous experimental research obtained of the physical and mechanical parameters of carbon contact elements. The theoretical and empirical methods of research used in this work. As a result of the conducted research was found statistical interconnection between contact elements hardness and volume resistivity described by the analytical expression. Taking into account the design features of the contact elements and the requirements for their operation, were established more accurate correlations of the measured values. Using the results obtained in the work will increase the operational reliability of the sliding high-current contact of electric transport.Item Modeling the Quality of Current Collection Under the Conditions of a Growing Speed of Rolling Stock(Kaunas University of Technology, 2020) Kaniewski, M.; Kuznetsov, Valeriy; Hubskyi, Peter V.; Sychenko, Viktor G.; Antonov, Andrii V.EN: The use of high-speed electric rolling stock necessitates increased requirements for the reliability of its operation. Particular attention should be paid to the interaction of the contact line with current collectors. An important area is the development of tools for modeling the interaction of catenary with current collectors. At present, in some sections of railways, there is a need to increase the speed of trains and adapt the requirements for the design of the contact lines, which allow to the owner of the infrastructure to achieve the correct parameters for dynamic interaction on the pantograph-contact line interface in the point of view of the requirements of Energy TSI. In this work the authors discussed the problem of the equivalenting the contact line during the simulationItem Renewable Electricity Sources Selection Based on the Economy Applied Approach(IEEE, 2022) Antonov, Andrii V.; Bosyi, Dmytro O.ENG: The aim of the work is to develop an economically justified approach to the selection of renewable sources of electricity. This aim is achieved by construction an automated algorithm that takes into account a set of restrictions for creating the optimal structure of a photovoltaic station. The work confirms the influence of such factors on project implementation as: electricity consumption schedule, built-up area, photovoltaic station mounting system type, allocated amount of money for project implementation, fixed and variable costs for maintenance of photovoltaic station, cost of electricity. The results of an economically justified approach to the selection of renewable sources of electricity at a real photovoltaic station are given. Indicators such as pay-back period and cash flow were calculated, which show the feasibility of the proposed approach.Item Resource Evaluation of Friction Pair “Contact Wire – Contact Strip”(Polish Academy of Sciences, 2017) Antonov, Andrii V.; Sychenko, Viktor G.EN: Purpose. Investigate the impact of current collection system parameters and external factors on the resource of friction pair “contact wire – contact strip”. Relevance. The level of electrified railways reliability depends on the reliability and durability of the individual objects of power supply system and the locomotive facilities, in turn, the current collection quality depends on design of contact network and pantographs, contact wires materials, contact strips and external influencing factors. The resource system “contact wire – contact strip” is an important technical and economic characteristics, and its average actual resource is much less established. It means that the actual resource does not reach the optimum value from an economic point. Increasing velocity of the electric rolling stock exacerbates the problem of improving the current collection quality, becomes an actual task of increasing the resource friction pair “ contact wire – contact strip” for mainline railways. Scientific novelty. This work determined the influence structural parameters of the friction pair, the current collection system parameters and external factors on the wear rate of the friction pair “contact wire – contact strip”. Proposed to create a predictive mathematical model that uses the dependence of the influencing parameters obtained in this work to assess the wear and resource of contact wire and contact strips. Practical importance. Developed the device for wear researching of friction pairs in laboratory conditions allows assessing the wear rate of the system “contact wire – contact strip” and their residual resource at different combinations of the friction pair and external factors. The obtained results allow us to construct a predictive mathematical model to evaluate wear rate of the elements of the friction pair “contact wire – contact strip” and identify their residual resource.Item Theoretical and Experimental Research of Contact Wire and Pantograph Contact Elements Wear(Publishing House ‘Academperiodika’ of the N.A.S. of Ukraine, 2021) Antonov, Andrii V.; Sychenko, Viktor G.EN: The goal of the work is substantiation of using the proposed method of sliding high-current contact wear prediction by comparing the forecasting results with the experimental ones. In conditions of ensuring high quality services transportation of passengers and cargo, the issue of ensuring reliable operation of the high-current contact ‘contact wire–pantograph contact element’ becomes especially relevant. The reliability of the traction system as a whole depends of the high-current contact reliability. The feasibility of using the proposed method for predicting wear of sliding high-current contact is substantiated. This method differs from the existing ones due to possibility of taking into account the set of factors, which influence on current collection process, by comparison the predicted wear values of the sliding high current contact with the data obtained experimentally. The results show a possibility of reducing the wear of the contact wire up to 11% in its interaction with graphite contact elements and increasing the efficiency of the use of contact elements up to 25%.
