Energy and Technological Modelling of Metallurgical Processes from Out-of-Furnace Iron Processing to Continuous Casting

ENG: Purpose. Conducted energy-technological modeling of steelmaking processes. It is shown that at different stages of steel production, the increase in energy intensity of steel differs significantly and depends on the chosen technology, equipment and materials used. It has been established that for modern methods of off-blast refining of cast iron, the least energy-consuming technology is the use of mixtures based on lime and magnesium. For the oxygen-converter process, liquid cast iron contributes the largest increase in energy consumption, and for conditions of non-furnace processing of steel, the consumption of electricity for heating the metal. An assessment of the impact of the speed of steel pouring on the MBLZ and the carbon content in the metal on the energy costs of the process is also given.
Formation of Investment Attractiveness of Intellectual Capital of Engineering Companies in the Context of Improvement of Innovation Activities Management

ENG: The study examines the formation of investment attractiveness of intellectual capital of engineering companies in the context of improving their innovative activities. Market conditions and problems of the engineering services segment are studied, the need for domestic engineering enterprises to comply with the international regulatory framework is emphasized. The need to build modern marketing information systems as an element of increasing the intellectual capital of the company and the marketing activity of engineering companies in increasing the commercial potential of innovative technologies is substantiated. It is proposed to use modern technologies for managing innovation activities, such as design thinking, organizational laws adapted to the specifics of engineering using the capabilities of project management, and the latest methods of personnel training. The directions of forming the intellectual capital of engineering companies are studied. Directions for investing in the intellectual capital of an enterprise providing engineering services are developed. The organizational capital of engineering companies, conditions and factors for its increase are studied.
Forming the Investment Attractiveness of Innovative Investment Projects on the Basis of Increasing Their Commercial Potential in the Field of Engineering Services

ENG: The study deals with the formation of the investment attractiveness of innovative projects in the activities of Ukrainian enterprises with the involvement of engineering companies. The necessity of coordinating the goals of the enterprise and the motives of investors is substantiated. It is noted that the basis for cooperation and pooling of efforts can be the determination of an integral indicator of investment attractiveness – the commercial potential of an innovation-investment project. Modern approaches, the essence and components of the formation of commercial potential are considered. The role and importance of engineering companies in increasing the commercial potential of innovative and investment projects is shown on the example of the innovative technology «Simatic System Audit» of Siemens Corporation. The marketing component in increasing the commercial potential of an innovation-investment project has been studied. The role and importance of engineering companies in promoting this technology to the Ukrainian market of industrial enterprises is emphasized.
Intellectual Entrepreneurship as a Means of Commercializing Objects of Intellectual Property Rights

ENG: The relevance of the research is due to the fact that at the current stage, the development of the innovation market is connected, first of all, with the introduction and rapid spread of IT technologies and the global digitalization of society. Therefore, digitization and the digital revolution require managers to perceive business in a new perspective, and provide enterprises with unique competitive advantages. The purpose of the study is to study the aspects of increasing the efficiency of innovative investment activities of enterprises, in particular the intellectual sphere, based on the protection of digital intellectual property rights with the possibility of their further commercialization to ensure profit and long-term competitive advantages. As a result of the research, the following problems were identified: firstly, the objects of digital intellectual property law need protection, which is caused by rapid digitalization, secondly, certain problems were identified, such as toning and obsolescence of the existing legal framework, which needs improvement on based on the scientific background; thirdly, the directions in which the intervention and support of the state regarding the development of intellectual entrepreneurship are necessary are emphasized, on the basis of legal rights to commercialize objects of intellectual property, that is, to use the intangible assets of the enterprise in this way. Research results: 1. New objects of intellectual property, which are used on the Internet and require appropriate protection, are characterized. 2. The process of formation of an intellectual product as a result of the combination of intellectual, informational resources and knowledge databases was studied. 3. It is shown that the process of transforming an intellectual product into an object of intellectual property rights must be carried out in the legislative and legal field of copyright protection, only after that is its commercialization in the form of innovative products that enter the market business environment and are able to bring only profit for the enterprise, but also to satisfy certain social needs. 4. The components of the digital environment of objects of digital intellectual property rights have been formed. 5. Structured areas of copyright protection for digital intellectual property. 6. It is proposed to use the capabilities of neural networks in decision-making support systems in the information system of the enterprise, which, on the one hand, is capable of digital transformation of the enterprise environment, and on the other hand, to create new and effectively use already existing digital intellectual property to increase the efficiency of the enterprise, to ensure long-term competitive advantages.
Mission and Strategy of the Compliance Program of Metallurgical Enterprise Development Management

ENG: The authors analyze the peculiarities of the macro-and micro-environment in the conditions of martial law in which Ukrainian industrial enterprises are forced to operate and directions for overcoming the crisis in the economy as a result of the war, investigate aspects of the formation of the mission and strategy of the enterprise in the conditions of the need to rebuild the Ukrainian economy and the formation of a compliance program as a tool of minimization risks and ensuring the sustainable development of metallurgical enterprises that are of strategic importance to the state. The object of the study is the process of forming a compliance program for an industrial enterprise, in particular a metallurgical one. The subject of the researchis theoretical approaches to defining the mission and development strategy of a metallurgical sector enterprise using a compliance program, as well as scientific views, ideas, and concepts of domestic scientists on issues of compliance implementation at domestic enterprises.The purpose of the study is modern approaches to defining the mission and strategy with the application of the compliance program as the main tool for ensuring protection against risks and maintaining the safety of the operation of the enterprise of the metallurgical sector of the economy and the directions of its further development in the Ukrainian realities in order to obtain competitive advantages and increase the efficiency of the enterprises of this sphere.The research methodology is based on scientific generalization, on the application of the dialectical method, genetic approach, scientific abstraction, theoretical provisions of system analysis, methods of economic analysis.The peculiarities of the formation of the compliance program are established, its main stages are formulated, attention is focused on internal audit indicators and so-called indicators of compliance with requirements and control over the achievement of these indicators based on the application of decision support systems using artificial intelligence. As a result of the study, the role, place and connections of the compliance program in the formation of the mission and strategy of the metallurgical enterprise, which are related to the need to assess and minimize risks, are determined.
Modeling Integration Strategies in Branch Projects

ENG: The widespread use of project management methodologies shows a fundamental shift in the way organizations are trying to cope with the complexity and volatility of the external environment. In large-scale projects, integrating the work of many people often leads to conflicts in teams, but at the same time, it also contributes to the creation of innovative solutions. We explore promising strategies for managing integration in projects to describe different approaches to teamwork strategies. These types of strategies are illustrated by individual components and are relevant to large organizational projects. The implementation of the proposed scientific provisions will increase the efficiency of the implementation of projects to create new products and services of the enterprise.
Modeling of Economic and Legal Support of Intellectual Entrepreneurship

ENG: The authors study modern aspects of the formation and development of intellectual entrepreneurship, analyse the theoretical provisions on the legal support of intellectual entrepreneurship, establish the features of legislative and regulatory support for the regulation of legal relations in the field of intellectual entrepreneurship. As a result of the research, the priority types of enterprises in the intellectual sphere are identified and the main shortcomings of legal support that need to be addressed are formulated.
The Organization of Iron Ore Agglomerate and Pellets Production with Reduced Environmental Impact

ENG: Purpose. The steady rise in the cost of traditional energy resources and their negative impact on the environment is leading to an increase in the share of renewable energy sources worldwide. The use of biomass for energy generation based on modern technologies is environmentally safer compared to the energy use of traditional organic resources such as coal. A significant reserve for increasing the use of energy from biomass is concentrated in the metallurgical industry, including the production of pelletised iron ore. Research has been carried out to study the impact of different types of biomaterials on the sintering process of iron ore and the quality of the resulting sinter. The study found that, provided that the process performance and sinter quality are maintained at the appropriate level, it is possible to replace up to 25% of coke fines with charcoal and up to 50% with walnut shells. An analysis of the use of sunflower husks as an alternative fuel was carried out by adding them to the already installed pellet firing system for the grate-tubular kiln-ring cooler installation. It was found that when replacing up to 50 % of natural gas with sunflower husks, the quantitative and qualitative indicators of pellet production remained at the baseline level.
Using IT-Marketing Products in Commercial Real Estate Projects

ENG: The commercial real estate market in Ukraine has changed significantly over the past few years. This article focuses on commercial real estate, in particular, shopping and entertainment centers (SECs). Ukrainian SECs have suffered significant losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and then some more suffered serious damage during the full-scale war. However, most of the SECs have resumed or are resuming their operations, and new SECs are being unfrozen. The unstable situation in the country, massive population movements within the country and the departure of many Ukrainians abroad make the management of SECs to revise their development plans and marketing strategies. Modern marketing strategies for promoting SECs require the use of innovative tools. This paper considers the problem of using special software for marketing automation. The authors have selected the most well-known marketing automation platforms for any project and conducted a comparative analysis of them.

UKR: В Україні майже єдиним джерелом фінансування наукових досліджень є державне, і особливим чином це стосується закладів вищої освіти (ЗВО), створюється велика кількість інноваційних розробок, проєктів і технологій, об’єктів права інтелектуальної власності (ІВ). Імплементація таких новостворених передових технологій підприємствами України відіграє ключову роль як у зростанні конкурентоспроможності підприємств, так і економіки країни в цілому. Водночас, існує проблема трансферу технологій, створених на базі ЗВО, що полягає у відсутності ефективної взаємодії між ЗВО та бізнесом. Тому вироблення політики ЗВО України у сфері ІВ й трансферу технологій, набуття вмінь просувати та комерціалізувати інноваційні розробки від ЗВО до бізнесу, зокрема на основі вивчення, узагальнення й впровадження передового зарубіжного досвіду сприятиме їх затребуваності, допоможе українському бізнесу бути обізнаному щодо їх наявності й звертатися до вітчизняних розробників щодо придбання необхідної технології. Сьогодні зостається фактом, що більшість вітчизняних ЗВО не сфокусовані на комерціалізації результатів своїх наукових досліджень.
До питання захисту порушених прав інтелектуальної власності

UKR: У статті розглянуто питання захисту порушених прав інтелектуальної власності. В епоху глобалізаційних процесів в економіці, з появою нових технологій передачі інформації, розвитком технічного прогресу, виникають нові механізми порушення прав інтелектуальної власності, нові методи незаконного використання результатів інтелектуальної праці. Тому розробка ефективних механізмів захисту порушених прав інтелектуальної власності є актуальною задачею. Складність боротьби з порушниками прав інтелектуальної власності пов’язана, в першу чергу, з тим, що склад порушень охоплюються нормами цивільного, адміністративного, кримінального та господарського права, що значно ускладнює їх кваліфікацію. Основні акценти в економіці сьогодні переміщуються на прискорений інноваційний розвиток, перехід до стратегії, що базується на знаннях та інтелекті. Наша країна взяла курс на інноваційний шлях розвитку, важливим питанням якого є теорія і практика інтелектуальної власності і тому неодмінною умовою цього складного процесу є захист порушених прав інтелектуальної власності та відповідальність за їх порушення. В сучасних умовах господарювання, з урахуванням глобалізаційних процесів, з швидкоплинними змінами, які відбуваються в усіх сферах діяльності людини, суспільства, на перший план виступають питання ефективного захисту прав інтелектуальної власності та створення надійної системи захисту. Дослідження спорів, пов’язаних із захистом прав на об'єкти інтелектуальної власності, свідчить, що найпоширенішою категорію з-поміж них є спори щодо захисту авторського права та суміжних прав. Предметом розгляду в справах про захист прав інтелектуальної власності виступають спори про припинення порушення авторського права та суміжних прав, про виплату компенсації за порушення майнових авторських прав, про стягнення заборгованості згідно з договором на використання у комерційній діяльності музичних творів та інших майнових прав, про припинення порушення прав на знаки для товарів і послуг та відшкодування збитків, про порушення прав інтелектуальної власності комерційної назви суб’єкта господарської діяльності та відшкодування збитків, завданих таким порушенням.
До питання набуття прав на об’єкти промислової власності в іноземних державах

UKR: Набуття прав на об’єкти промислової власності є важливою процедурою, яка забезпечує монопольне право на використання створеного об’єкта протягом певного періоду. Отримання патенту дозволяє його власнику забороняти несанкціоноване використання об’єкта промислової власності іншими особами, а передача права використання даного об’єкта є джерелом додаткового прибутку. Усе ці чинники забезпечують підприємству низку конкурентних переваг, тому питання набуття прав промислової власності є особливо актуальними.
Захист інтелектуальної власності в цифровому середовищі Індустрії 4.0 в умовах мілітаризму України

UKR: У зв'язку з цифровізацією та розвитком Індустрії 4.0 виникають нові виклики для захисту інтелектуальної власності, такі як несанкціоноване поширення матеріалів, крадіжка даних та хакерські атаки. В умовах воєнного стану в Україні ці виклики посилюються, оскільки війна може призводити до порушення прав інтелектуальної власності через несанкціоноване використання технологій та інновацій військовими противниками. Крім того, війна впливає на спроможність держави забезпечувати захист інтелектуальної власності своїх громадян та підприємств через перенапруження ресурсів і обмеження у доступі до належних правових процедур. Досліджено чотири основних проблемних поля впливу на набуття, охорону та захист прав інтелектуальної власності: 1. Загальносвітові проблеми захисту прав інтелектуальної власності, такі як недостатнє фінансування системи захисту, низький рівень обізнаності про права інтелектуальної власності серед населення та бізнесу. 2. Недосконалість державної системи захисту інтелектуальної власності в Україні, невирішені проблеми в законодавстві, існуючі тривалий час в системі захисту прав інтелектуальної власності. 3. Специфічні проблеми та перешкоди, викликані умовами Індустрії 4.0, такі як нові форми порушення прав інтелектуальної власності, пов'язані з цифровими технологіями. 4. Специфічні проблеми, викликані та спричинені військовою агресією, її наслідками, мілітарним впливом. Розглянуті загальносвітові проблеми та перешкоди захисту прав інтелектуальної власності: піратство та нелегальне копіювання, контрафактні товари, технологічні виклики, складність правового регулювання, недостатня свідомість та освіченість про важливість інтелектуальної власності, що призводить до порушення прав власників інтелектуальної власності. Проаналізовано нововведення в державній системі захисту інтелектуальної власності в Україні, які були внесені Законом України «Про авторське право і суміжні права» № 2811-IX від 01.12.2022 року: розширення переліку об’єктів авторського права, зокрема, включення до нього таких об’єктів, як макети шрифтів, музично-світлові шоу, циркові вистави, твори художньо-графічного дизайну, твори художньої ковки; захист персонажу твору, як об’єкту права інтелектуальної власності; розмежування поняття фотографія та фотографічний твір; розширення переліку особистих немайнових прав, зокрема, надання автору права на присвяту твору; визначення того, що об’єкт згенерований комп’ютерною програмою (штучним інтелектом) є неоригінальним, а, отже, і права з охорони йому не надаються. Проаналізовано авторське право в цифрову епоху, досліджено, як позитивні, так і негативні аспекти Директиви Європейського Союзу про авторське право і суміжні права на єдиному цифровому ринку (2019/790) та запропоновано рекомендації законодавчого врегулювання проблем, пов'язаних з захистом авторських прав в цифрову епоху.
