Abstract
UKR: У статті досліджено сучасні тенденції впровадження гібридного підходу до управління проєктами в транспортній галузі, що поєднує елементи традиційних і Agile-методологій. Проаналізовано переваги використання систем EVM та PMIS як ключових інструментів для підвищення результативності, прозорості й керованості реалізації інфраструктурних проєктів. Автори обґрунтовують актуальність адаптації цифрових рішень до умов транспортного середовища, а також підкреслюють важливість інтегрованого підходу до прийняття управлінських рішень. Представлено практичні аспекти впровадження гібридних методик у контексті реальних викликів галузі.
ENG: This article explores the integration of hybrid project management approaches in large-scale transport infrastructure projects. While traditional methodologies such as PMBOK and PRINCE2 provide the structural rigour essential for managing cost, scope, and timelines, they often fall short in dynamic environments. Conversely, Agile approaches offer flexibility and responsiveness but are rarely tailored for complex, regulation-bound transport megaprojects. The study proposes a balanced, hybrid model that strategically combines predictive planning with adaptive execution, allowing teams to address both rigid constraints and the need for real-time decision-making. The novelty of the research lies in its contextualisation of hybrid models within the transport sector, particularly under conditions of high uncertainty and multi-stakeholder coordination. Drawing from global studies and Ukrainian case examples, the paper demonstrates how earned value management (EVM) and project management information systems (PMIS) enhance project performance when integrated into hybrid frameworks. The practical significance of the study is underscored through scenarios where hybrid management mitigates cost overruns, delays, and communication gaps between stakeholders. Methodologically, the article employs a comparative analysis of classical, Agile, and hybrid approaches, illustrated through tables, charts (including EVM S-curves), and qualitative insights. It also presents a generalised model for PMIS integration that links planning, data collection, and decision-making in a unified digital environment. The findings suggest that transport organisations adopting hybrid strategies supported by digital tools like PMIS and EVM can significantly improve transparency, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination. These insights are particularly relevant for countries modernising their transport infrastructure amid digitalisation and regulatory reforms. The study contributes to the evolving discourse on project management in complex environments and offers a grounded, actionable framework for practitioners in the public and private sectors alike.
