The research involved 60 students (men aged 18-20). The control group consisted of 30 students (15 each) from the faculties of «Technical Cybernetics» and «Mechanical Science» who did not play sports at the university (assigned to the main or preparatory medical groups for health reasons) and attended physical education classes (4 hours per week) in the study groups of the main department for two years. The experimental group was also made up of 30 students of the faculties of «Technical Cybernetics» and «Mechanical Science» (15 each), who were assigned to the main medical group for health reasons and had been playing football at the university (4 hours per week) in the study groups of the sports department for 2 years. Diagnostics of students' selectivity of attention were carried out with the help of the Munsterberg test. Concentration and steadiness were diagnosed with the use of the Bourdon's proofreading test (the task was performed within 10 minutes). All the data were statistically processed via the Mann-Whitney U-test.Item Features of the Influence of the Locus of Personality Control on the Expression of Aggression in Football(Scientific Publishing Center «InterConf», 2023) Pichurin, Valerii V.; Umerenko, Viktor; Dutko, TarasENG: In the article, there are presented the results of the study of the relationship between the locus of personality control and expressions of aggression among football students. Thirty football students of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies named after Academician V. Lazaryan took part in the study. The level of subjective control was diagnosed with the use of the Questionnaire of Subjective Control which was developed by E. Bazhin on the basis of the locus of control scale by D. Rotter. The number of red and yellow cards that players received during the competition was considered as a measure of the aggression. A statistical verification of the data received was carried out with the use of Spearman's coefficient of rank correlation. It was found that the level of subjective control is a factor related to the expression of aggression among football students.Item The Formation of Emotional Stability of Students in Physical Education(SPC «InterConf».,Epi, Orléans, 2023) Pichurin, Valerii V.; Umerenko, Viktor; Dutko, TarasENG: One of the directions for improving the training of future specialists in higher education institutions is the formation of professionally relevant personality characteristics. Emotional stability is one of these characteristics. Physical education and sport are one of the few spheres of life of modern students in which this issue can be effectively resolved. The authors provide data on the positive impact of specially organized physical education classes on the formation of such emotional stability in students.Item Fundamentals of Psycho-Physical Training of Students in Physical Education(A.C.M. Objectives: The purpose is to analyze the impact of post-traumatic stress disorder on the psychological and physical health of military personnel based on the consideration of illustrative clinical cases. Methods: The methods of systematic literature analysis, thematic analysis, comparison and observation were used. The latter was expressed in 2 forms: clinical and everyday observation. Based on a strict selection of scientific sources (10 inclusion criteria were formed), the most relevant and relevant literature was selected. Results: The results showed that symptoms can include agitation, reflective feelings, flashbacks to painful events. Conclusions: The paper summarizes that PTSD can manifest itself at different stages, starting with acute PTSD (from 1 to 3 months), chronic PTSD (more than 3 months) to delayed PTSD (after 6 months) and complex PTSD. It can lead to cardiovascular problems, digestive problems, headaches, fibromyalgia, etc. Thus, it has been established that the impact of PTSD is multifaceted, as it includes both mental and physical health problems.Item On the Appropriateness of Physical Education Models(LLC SPC «InterConf», 2024) Pichurin, Valerii V.; Umerenko, ViktorENG: Currently, there is an intensification of discussions regarding the appropriateness of using such physical education models as health-adaptive, socially-oriented, personality-oriented, and sports-recreational, which, as is well known, differ in their goals and means of achieving them. The purpose of the study is to justify the necessity of using the principle of constructive alternativism in physical education. The initial premise of the study is the notion that approaches to analyzing physical education models should be conducted in both practical and theoretical planes. From a practical point of view, it is important to understand to what extent a particular model meets the current societal demand, the complexity of organizational measures necessary for its implementation, the material base, etc. From a theoretical standpoint, only the extent to which our understanding of physical education as a phenomenon has been deepened and expanded is important.Item Peculiarities of Relationship between the Trait Anxiety and the Level of Subjective Control in Students(Видавнича група «Наукові перспективи», 2022) Pichurin, Valerii V.ENG: Backgrounds and aims of the research. An important research area of psychophysical training of students in the process of physical education is the research of relationship of professionally significant psychophysical characteristics in future professionals. The information obtained in this area can be used as a basis for the development of scientific concepts and pedagogical technologies. Trait anxiety and the level of subjective control are important characteristics of personality, which significantly influence the level of psychophysical preparedness of a professional. The research is aimed to test the assumption that the indicators of trait anxiety and the level of subjective control in students are to some extent interrelated. Material and methods. 50 students of Dnipro National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan took part in the research. 28 of them are boys and 22 are girls. Age of the research participants is 17-19 years. Psychological diagnosis of trait anxiety was performed using the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory. The level of subjective control was measured using the test questionnaire “Research of subjective control” by E. F. Bazhin, developed on the basis of J. Rotter’s Locus of Control Scale. Statistical processing of the results obtained was performed using Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient. Results. A statistically significant negative correlation between the indicators of trait anxiety and the level of subjective control in students was established. It concerns both boys and girls. The correlation between indicators of trait anxiety and the level of subjective control is greater in girls. Conclusions. The results obtained during the research reveal the nature of relationship of such personal characteristics as trait anxiety and the level of subjective control in students.Item The Role of Psychological Flexibility in Posttraumatic Adaptation(EDITORIAL PRIMMATE S.A.S, 2024) Fedoryshyn, Halyna; Chepurna, Hanna; Lunchenko, Nadiia; Pichurin, Valerii V. ; Nyzovets, OlenaENG: According to the World Health Organization, 70% of the population reports experiencing traumatic incidents. Psychological flexibility, which consists of acceptance, cognitive defusing, mindfulness, value orientation, and behavioral flexibility, is important for adaptation after traumatic situations. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to determine the role of psychological flexibility in the process of recovery from traumatic events. This paper uses the methods of literature analysis and observation. In particular, the PRISMA approach was used to collect relevant scientific materials. To include the literature, 5 criteria were developed that related to the content, methodology, and time of writing (from 2014– 2024). A total of 40 items were included. The results showed that psychological flexibility is characterized by such factors as perception, cognitive defusing, mindfulness, value orientation, and behavioral flexibility. The study found that individuals with a high level of psychological flexibility cope better with traumatic events, have fewer PTSD symptoms, and recover faster. The conclusions note that welldeveloped psychological flexibility contributes to effective emotional management, adaptation to change, and finding constructive solutions in stressful situations. Thus, it is proved that developed psychological flexibility promotes recovery from trauma and reduces the negative impact of stress on health.Item Theoretical Prerequisites of Psychophysical Training in Physical Education(Scientific Publishing Center «InterConf», 2023) Pichurin, Valerii V.; Umerenko, Viktor; Dutko, TarasENG: In this article, research provides the results of theoretical prerequisites for the formation of individual's structural components in the area of physical education.
