Item Comparative Mathematical Analysis of Transmission and Axial Disc Brakes(Український державний університет науки і технологій, Дніпро, 2024) Monia, Andrii G.; Bychkova, D. M.ENG: Purpose. A comparative study of axial and transmission disc-pad brakes. The task of the work is the theoretical determination of the braking torque and the force of pressing the pads against the disk in different braking modes, as well as the determination of the area of optimal operating modes of the indicated brakes. The methods. Comparative mathematical analysis. Findings. With equal dimensions of the two types of disc brakes and an even distribution of the braking torque between the wheel pairs, the transmission creates a greater braking torque on each of the four wheels of the traction section due to the gear ratio of the axial gearbox. Installing a disc brake on the axle of a wheel pair with a central location of the drive gear wheel allows you to change the masses of the half-axles, which means to eliminate self-oscillations that destroy the drive axle under the action of resonant torsional vibrations. The heavier the rolling stock of the train being transported, or the greater the slope of the track on the descent, the smaller the braking torque can be applied to the wheel pair, to exclude its blocking and clutch failure. The obtained results show that the smaller the moments of inertia and stiffness of the wheels, half-axles and transmission elements (gear wheels, shafts, etc.), the smaller the braking torque required to stop the locomotive on the same braking path. But the higher the speed of the train before braking, the greater the braking torque should be. Originality. Such locomotives should have both disc transmission brakes, as more efficient, and disc axle brakes as safer.Item Developing Software to Solve Certain Problems of Inventory Management(Видавництво «Молодий вчений», 2022) Lozovska, Lyudmila I.; Bandorina, Lily M.ENG: In modern conditions of intensifying competition in consumer markets, stable operation of enterprises is ensured by the implementation of strategies for maximum satisfaction of consumer demand for goods and related services. Planning such strategies requires improvements in various enterprise systems, in particular, the inventory management system based on the rationalization and optimization of product flows, use of appropriate models and methods for these tasks. Every company strives to satisfy the customer at the highest possible level. This task requires a significant investment in inventory. At the same time, an equally important task is to find new opportunities to reduce all types of costs and increase profits, therefore, from the point of view of finance, the ideal state is when there is no stock while the production needs of the company are met in full. But such a situation is absolutely impossible in real conditions. In order to work as efficiently as possible and reach acceptable financial indicators, it is necessary to effectively manage inventory stock at the enterprise. An essential feature of inventory modeling process is uncertainty in real conditions, which is associated with the inaccuracy or incompleteness of information about demand, supply, time delays of ordered goods, product spoilage and other parameters of the logistics system. This necessitates an effective inventory management mechanism in conditions of uncertainty. Solving this problem requires calculation of exact date and quantity of each subsequent order. Most modern software packages for inventory management are quite difficult to understand or require large financial expenses. In addition, most practical applications are designed for deterministic parameters of demand and production schedule. In fact, demand has a high level of uncertainty, which requires improved algorithms using stochastic theory of inventory management. Thus, a number of issues related to this field still remain unresolved or incompletely resolved. Most publications consider the classic toolkit with some well-known modifications. However, classic models are quite difficult to apply in in real life because the ideal conditions are difficult to achieve in practice. The models do not take into account the limitations imposed by internal and external factors. Based on this, we have created software that would perform the required task. The final product of the research is a software product that enables warehouse operators and managers to optimize drafting a schedule of production inventory deliveries in conditions of demand uncertainty, as well as controlling deliveries based on an economic-mathematical model of inventory management in conditions of demand uncertainty. The software is able to determine the optimal period of delivery of several types of resources, total costs for storage and ordering, the effect of the obtained savings, speeding up and simplifying the dispatcher's work.Item Development of Software Module for Determining Rational Capital Structure of the Enterprise(Khmelnytskyi National University, 2022) Savchuk, Larysa M.; Bandorina, Liliia M.; Udachina, Kateryna O.; Sokyrynska, Iryna; Savchuk, Roman V.ENG: The relevance of research on the use of information technologies to solve applied problems, in particular, financial policy management at the micro level has been revealed in this article. The own definition of the concept of financial policy at the enterprise level has been proposed as a triad of the main content principles, namely: asset management, cash flow management, liability management. It has been established that research in the field of financial policy is mostly theoretical, therefore the development of software module based on the model of solving a practical problem presented in the article is relevant for Ukrainian enterprises. After structurization and determination the list of financial policy tasks, an original improvement of one of the important components in asset management, namely the task of modeling the amount of receivables, has been proposed. In order to obtain the maximum economic effect, it has been proposed to suggest to calculate the optimal level of accounts receivable. Using of the method of approximation of the non-linear dependence of receivables on the credit period, which was initiated by O. I. Luchkov, has been substantiated. The principles of the methodics have been defined, its modification and clarification have been proposed in the direction of the development of methods for calculating the numerical values of all components of the model in the article. This method allows the obtaining the optimal term of the credit period in days and the optimal amount of receivables in monetary terms. Model experiment has been executed to test the model's operation, during which data from the financial statements of one of the operating enterprises have been used. The obtained results testify to the effectiveness and correctness of the proposed methodics are served as an information basis for management decisions regarding the assessment of the effectiveness of measures to manage the company's financial policy. The software module has been developed that, based on the results of certain calculations, allows to make quick and well- founded decisions about balancing the structure of assets and liabilities in order to restore financial stability and increase profits.Item Expert Assessments as a Method of Determining the Efficiency of Intellectual and Innovative Technologies(Український державний університет науки і технологій, Дніпро, 2024) Solomennyi Oleksandr O.ENG: Purpose. The purpose of the article is to study the role of expert evaluations in determining the effectiveness of intellectual and innovative technologies. Methodology. Optimization methods, management decision-making methods, as well as mathematical apparatus, are the basis for building a model for determining the effectiveness of intellectual and innovative technologies. Findings. The method of expert evaluations is an important tool for determining the efficiency of intellectual and innovative technologies. Its use allows obtaining objective data and forecasts regarding the potential and prospects for the development of innovations, which creates prerequisites for further improving the competitiveness of enterprises and the economy as a whole. The method of additive convolution of criteria allows you to systematize the decision-making process in the conditions of complex systems with many criteria, which helps to make the process more objective and effective. Originality. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the application of the additive convolution method, since the indicators of the ideal option will be obtained only among the available alternatives, and not globally for determining the effectiveness of intellectual and innovative technologies. Practical value. Formation of the strategy of a mining and metallurgical enterprise taking into account the competitive advantages of the manufacturing system to increase the efficiency of its operation. Methodology. The basis of the study involved: methods of theoretical generalization for clarifying the definitions: “behavioral characteristics”, “usefulness”, “adaptation”; expert method – for evaluating and ranking the input parameters of the system formation of strategy for manufacturing system; modern information technologies (MS Visual Studio programming environment) for software module development. Findings. An algorithm for evaluating the usefulness and adaptation of behavioral characteristics for manufacturing system based on the triad principle is presented. A strategy for manufacturing system based of built tactics by identifying record, potential, weak and risky aspects of behavioral characteristics is formed. A software module is developed that provides recommendations for the received calculations. Originality. Methodological approach to assessing the characteristics for manufacturing system of the mining and metallurgical enterprise on the principle of the triad is improved, which, in contrast to the existing ones, allows taking into account three points of view of evaluation: with regard to the object of management (self-regulation model), with regard to the branch body (management model); from the standpoint of the state regulatory body (control model), which allows identifying competitive advantages due to the behavioral characteristics of the manufacturing system. Practical value. The proposed evaluation model based on the triad is universal and can be used in the practical work of economic entities, which will increase the efficiency of their operation and ensure targeted activities aimed at making informed and timely decisions.Item Forming the Investment Attractiveness of Innovative Investment Projects on the Basis of Increasing Their Commercial Potential in the Field of Engineering Services(European University Press, ISMA University of Applied Sciences, Riga, Latvia, 2023) Fonarova, Tetiana A.; Bushuiev, M.; Petrenko, Vitalii O.; Bushuiev, K. The main characteristics of IIT are described, in particular, innovativeness, intellectual component, digitalization, flexibility and adaptability. A classification of IIT is proposed by industry direction, level of innovation, degree of use of artificial intelligence, impact on society and business models. The role and importance of engineering companies in promoting this technology to the Ukrainian market of industrial enterprises is emphasized.Item Mathematical Model of Pressure and Temperature Distribution in Working Area of Mine Locomotive Disc Brake(Dnipro University of Technology, Dnipro, 2024) Monia, Andrii G.ENG: Purpose. Calculate the coordinates of the maximum temperature and the greatest pressure on the working surface for the rational parameters of the main elements of the disc brake of the mine locomotive with a multi-sector brake disc selected by mathematical modeling. The methods. To find the coordinates of the maximum temperature and the greatest pressure on the working surface of a disc brake with a multi-sector brake disc with selected rational parameters, mathematical modeling of temperature and pressure on the friction surface was carried out. Findings. On the basis of mathematical modeling, the maximum temperature and its coordinates and the greatest pressure on the working surface of a disc brake with a multi-sector brake disc were found. It is shown that the maximum temperature on the friction surface of the main elements of the disc brake with the selected parameters in specific mine conditions under the most unfavorable operating conditions will not exceed the permissible value. The originality. A mathematical model of braking of a mine locomotive with a disc brake was developed, which creates a pulsating braking moment on the axle of the wheel pair, which depends on its angular coordinate, taking into account the non-linear dependence of the coupling coefficient on the relative slip, on the basis of which the parameters of the braking moment are established, which allow to improve the braking characteristics. Practical implementation. A scientifically based engineering methodology for choosing rational parameters of the disc brake of a mine locomotive and determining the dynamic and kinematic characteristics of the drive of a mine locomotive when braking with a disc brake with a multi-sector disc has been developed. An analytical solution to the non-stationary thermal conductivity problem of finding the temperature field that occurs in the brake disc and friction linings of the disc brake of a mine locomotive when the linings are made in the form of a ring sector was obtained, on the basis of which the dependence of the relative temperature on the friction surface of the brake was found of the disk over time during cyclic braking.Item Mathematical Model of Viscous Incompressible Fluid Motion between Wheel and Rail during Braking and Acceleration(Dnipro University of Technology, Dnipro, 2024) Monia, Andrii H.ENG: Purpose. Development, solution and analysis of a mathematical model of the motion of a viscous incompressible fluid in the contact zone of a wheel and a rail to establish the characteristics of rolling a wheel on a rail in the presence of an intermediate medium during braking and acceleration. The methods. To describe the motion of a viscous incompressible fluid, the Navier-Stokes equations in the polar coordinate system are used. The solution of the system of linear algebraic equations was performed using the Gauss method. To satisfy the velocity and pressure vector projection functions to the boundary conditions, the method of weighted residuals in the form of point-wise collocation was used. Numerical integration was used to determine the lifting force of the intermediate medium and the viscous drag force due to the presence of the intermediate medium as functions of relative sliding. Findings. The influence of the intermediate medium on the characteristics of wheel-rail adhesion under negative and positive relative slips is substantiated by mathematical modeling of the process of rolling a steel wheel on a rail. It is shown that in order for the ratio of the increase in the relative lifting force of the intermediate medium to the increase in the relative force of viscous resistance compared to the values of these quantities during free rolling to not exceed unity, it is necessary to limit the absolute value of the relative slip to 8.5%. The originality. For the first time, the influence of an intermediate medium with the properties of a viscous non-compressible fluid on the characteristics of the wheel-rail friction contact under negative and positive relative slips has been substantiated. The relationship between the increase in the relative lift force and the increase in the relative force of viscous resistance on the relative slip was found in comparison with the values of these quantities during free rolling. Practical implementation. A scientifically based engineering method has been developed for determining the relative lifting force of the intermediate medium, the relative force of viscous resistance caused by the presence of the intermediate medium, and the ratio of the increase in the relative lifting force to the increase in the relative force of viscous resistance compared with the values of these quantities during free rolling as functions of relative slip for given initial data.Item Mathematical Modeling of Pulsating Braking of a Mine Locomotive during a Long Descent(Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies, Dnipro, 2025) Monia, Andrii H.; Matsko, V. Methodology. Forced vibrations of the elements of the wheel-motor unit (WMU) of a mine locomotive in the process of braking with a disc brake are studied by the methods of differential calculus and mathematical modeling. Integration of the system of differential equations is performed by the Runge-Kutt method. Findings. A comparative analysis of a mine locomotive braking by a disc brake, which creates a constant and pulsating sinusoidal braking torque with a different number of sinusoid periods per revolution of the wheel pair, is carried out. It has been proved that the pulsating sinusoidal braking moment generated on the axle of the wheel pair equal to the sum of the constant component and the amplitude of the oscillations of the variable component multiplied by the sine of the product of the number of sinusoid periods per revolution of the wheel pair by its angular coordinate provides higher braking characteristics than the constant braking moment. It is shown that pulsating braking torque reduces the braking time and braking distance of the mine locomotive. The values of the amplitude of oscillations, which depend on the average value of the braking torque, and the number of periods of the sinusoid per one revolution of the wheelset, at which the greatest effect is achieved, are determined. Originality. For the first time, a mathematical model has been developed for braking a mine locomotive by a disc brake, which creates a pulsating braking torque on the axle of the wheel pair, depending on its angular coordinate, taking into account the nonlinear dependence of the adhesion coefficient on relative slip, on the basis of which the efficiency of a disc brake with a multi-sector disc is shown in comparison with a disc brake with a homogeneous disk under various conditions of the rail track. Practical value. The purpose of this work is to review the state of research on the digitalization of educational services assets in the new economy and identify promising directions for the development of digital educational services and digitalization. Methodology. The article is devoted to the topical issues of conducting a comprehensive review of research results in the direction of digitalization of services in the conditions of the new economyprogramming language) was used to develop the software for drawing up the optimal schedule. Findings. The analysis of the current state of research in the field of digitalization of educational services allows us to draw the following conclusions: the digitalization process is an integral part of our life; the introduction of digital technologies brings benefits not only in the field of education, but also in other equally important areas, which once again confirms the fact of the relevance of the use of digital technologies, which are an integral part of our everyday life, in addition, in the future, dependence on digital technologies will only increase; in order to master digital technologies, there is already a need for the appearance of instructors and training courses, etc.; Algorithms and action formulas have been developed regarding the digitalization of Ukrainian regions; the relevance of the digitalization of educational services is beyond doubt and is very important and understudied, and therefore there is a great potential for learning new things and discovering new knowledge. That is, the digitalization of every sphere is a necessary condition for progressive development, and the economy is no exception. Originality. The conducted review revealed the directions of scientific research on the digital transformation of educational activities of institutions of higher education, which can be useful for the practical application of these ideas in institutions of higher education, proposed methods of combating illegal income by introducing digitalization of the national economy, proposed new methods of approach to increasing digital competence employees of organizational and educational units at the university. Practical value. Conclusions were made regarding the relevance and usefulness of the results of the research for implementation in practice.Item Pipe Production Cost Management Model Based on Graph Theory(Dnipro University of Technology, Dnipro, 2024) Toporkova, Olena A.; Lozovska, Lyudmila I.; Savchuk, Larysa M.; Monia, Andrii G.; Bandorina, Liliia M.ENG: The pipe production process is a complex dynamical system with a significant number of production operations and interconnected cost localization centres. Purpose. To develop a mathematical model of the process of handling analytical information of a pipe enterprise using graph theory for the needs of cost management at each production stage. Methodology. Technological flow charts of the production job, where the list of mandatory activities and routing of the operating process are indicated, were used to organize cost accounting by operational centres of their localization with the help of computer modelling elements, namely the graph theory. The work used a complex of research methods, including analysis and scientific synthesis of scientific and technical information; theoretical studies; methods of mathematical and computer modelling, engineering developments. Findings. The cost accounting process is represented by a directed hypergraph. Each production operation is associated with a graph vertex. Each vertex is assigned to a series of interrelated marks: type of technological operation; weight factor; the value of direct costs for the operation; the value of indirect costs for the operation; the expense factor. The initial state of the hypergraph is specified by means of its initial marking, which corresponds to the set cipher of the batch of pipes and its weight. Further execution of the marked hypergraph is performed by running the allowed vertices. Marking of the graph ends if all the information from the technological flow charts of pipe products has been used. Originality. A model of cost management by operational centres is proposed which will allow dividing the prime cost of pipes which differ according to the production technology. It is recommended to rank pipe products within each technologically similar group for an economically feasible allocation of costs between batches of pipes. The proposed process model of processing analytical information of the pipe enterprise using graph theory will allow providing data governance as for the prime cost of each individual batch of pipe products, will contribute to the improvement in the order generation procedure taking into account the acquired information, and will allow making the appropriate adjustments when making management decisions. Practical value. Calculation of expenses for production operations allows one to identify the most cost-intensive of them. Relying on the results of the calculation, the enterprise management has the opportunity to manage costs at any stage of the production process. Moreover, the model allows determining the amount of consumed metal for each production operation, which is relevant for pipe enterprises. It is appropriate to focus further scientific developments in this direction on the possibility of managing non-manufacturing cost with the help of mathematical models in economics to optimize the supply and sales activities of the enterprise.Item Review of Classic Model of Optimal Placement of Enterprises(НМетАУ, Дніпро, 2021) Lozovska, Lyudmila I.; Tereshchenko, ElinaENG: The article is devoted to the review of classical models of optimal location of enterprises. The geographical location of the company affects its performance. Wrongly chosen place for the production chain can turn it from promising to unprofitable and impractical. This paper considers the models proposed by scientists who have studied the optimality of the problem of placement, analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of these models and justified the need to update and adapt historical models to new economic realities. Problems of optimal location of enterprises are still being studied today. After analyzing the considered models, it is concluded that the use of these models in modern conditions requires their modernization and adaptation. У статті розглянуто сучасні методи покращення логістичних потужностей та впровадження новітніх технологій задля збільшення ефективності та економічної прибутковості шляхом якомога менших матеріальних витрат не втрачаючи при цьому якість впроваджених сучасних технологій. Також дуже важливим в даній статті є й розглянуте питання того, що існуючі на теперішній час та перевірені методи конкурентоспроможної підготовки фахівців, які орієнтовані на те, аби представляти лідерство в методах управління та бути готовими до партнерської діяльності. Це єнадзвичайно цікавою методикою, тому потребує більш інтенсивного розгляду, адже, якщо послуга, яку надає підприємство конкурентоспроможна й користується попитом, то відповідно й має бути клієнтоорієнтованою, адже це сильно може підвищити дохід підприємства.
