This study presents the results of the analysis of air pollution in Ukraine, based on satellite data Copernicus Sentinel 5p and the Copernicus Atmospheric Monitoring Service. The authors of this study present the spatial and temporal distribution of the content of the PM2.5, PM10, NO2, CO and H2CO in Ukraine. Methodology. Satellite data from Sentinel-5P is obtained via the Sentinel Hub (SH) operated by Sinergise. The Sentinel Hub supports Sentinel-5P level 2 (L2) data products which are geolocated, primarily preprocessed, and contain a “qa_value”. SP5 satellite data products are mostly measured and provided in mol/m2 units. For the purpose of the analysis presented here, the surface level concentrations of PM2.5 and PM10 were obtained through the Atmosphere Data Store (ADS) – a distributed data and information system which provides access to all CAMS datasets through unified web and API interfaces. In order to keep the observation time in line with the values monitored by the S5P satellite, daily concentrations modelled for 13:00 UTC have been used. As the database of CAMS data offered through the ADS consists of three years of the most recent data (termed a rolling archive), our analysis of PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations covers the period from 15 July 2017 to 14 July 2020. Results. According to the results of the study, areas of increased air pollution were identified, which include industrial agglomerations of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kyiv, Luhansk and Zaporizhia regions of Ukraine. Producing real data and evidence and their use must be a priority for achieving real improvements in air quality while also maintaining cost-effectiveness. Therefore, the connection of all existing ground monitoring systems and extension of the network is a necessity, especially in places that have been identified as air pollution hotspots. According to the experience of the EU countries, building a unified system operated by one authority on a national level, which also performs validation of data, seems to be the best option. This system should also be independent of external and political influences. It is advisable to use all available data on air quality, including public air monitoring systems and the results of independent scientific research, after their additional evaluation. Disclaimer. This study was financed from the Transition Promotion Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and National Endowment for Democracy (USA). Item Improvement of Reliability of Converters of Renewable Energy Considering the Characteristics of Problem Areas(SHEE “Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture”, Dnipro; Slovak University of Technology, Bratislava, Slovakia, 2018) Nakashydze, Liliya V.; Nakashydze, Irina S.; Brynzin, YevhenEN: The use of the proposed methodology allows consideration of the features of operation of certain problem areas of constructive interfaces, including those that are technologically equipped with the largest number of thermal conductive inclusions per unit area, i.e. to determine the worst heat-shielding characteristics by which heat losses of building premises should be determined.Item Management of Innovative Energy Efficient Technologies in the Conditions of Sustainable Development(Ljubljana School of Business, Ljubljana, Slovenia, 2022) Hilorme, Tetiana; Nakashydze, Liliya; Liashenko, IrynaENG: Irreversible depletion of the world's hydrocarbon reserves, rising energy prices, environmental pollution problems – all this is forcing most developed countries to set their own energy trategies aimed at developing alternative energy. M.; Vasiliev, D. L.; Malich, Mykola G.ENG: Subject of study. the processes of cracking and destruction of rocks under the action of the working bodies of machines for disintegration. Methodology. A complex method of generalizing the laws of the theory of elasticity and plasticity was used; theoretical and experimental confirmation of the regularities of the distribution of contact normal and tangential stresses, equations of the limiting state of materials based on the Coulomb strength criterion; slip line theory; comparison of theoretical results with experimental diagrams "normal stresslongitudinal deformation" of samples; facts and phenomena of destruction of rocks; generalization of the theoretical regularities arising from the power contact of the tool with the rock in crushers. Purpose. Reducing energy consumption and increasing the efficiency of rock disintegration by controlling its stress-strain state in crushers on the basis of mathematical modeling and using the established regularities of stresses and deformations in rocks when interacting with a working tool. Output. In the contact area, with an increase in the tangential load, the zone of uniform compression of the material decreases, the depth of the most stressed point approaches the contact surface. There is a significant zone of shear deformations, which are the decisive factor in crack initiation. The development of the crack in depth and complete destruction occurs along the shear lines. Such conditions of rock loading are observed in jaw crushers with complex jaw movement, in cone crushers, in roller crushers with different roll rotation speeds and correspond to the model of the most effective sliding compression. The creation of asymmetric loading conditions using the forces of contact friction, frictional and strength characteristics of the destroyed material can reduce the energy consumption of disintegration.Item The Morphology Analysis of the Structure Aluminum Alloy at Friction Stir Welding(Посвит, Дрогобич, 2020) Plitchenko, Serhii; Vakulenko, Ihor O.EN: The main components of friction stir welding process of an aluminum-based alloy (AMg6) are considered. As a result of passage working tool along of connecting edges, formation a temperature gradient on their thickness determines development processes of structural changes. Based on this, in different layers of the weld, in accordance with the heating temperature, a different degree of plasticization alloy is achieved. Separate structural zones of the welded joint and their influence on the value of hardness are considered. The observed asymmetry of the weld is determined by the direction of rotation working surfaces of the tool. Based on the analysis of results of studies for the AMg6 alloy, an explanation is proposed for the formation gradient structures in the weld zone during friction stir welding.Item Nestacionarieji ir Kvazistatiniai Gelezinkelio Traukiniгu Judejimo Rezimai(Vilniaus Gedimino Technicos Universitetas leidykla Technika, Vilnius, 2015) Blochinas, Eugenijus; Dailydka, Stasys; Lingaitis, Leonas P.; Ursuliak, Liudmyla V.LT: Monografija "Nestacionarieji ir kvazistatiniai gelezinkelio traukiniu judejimo rezimai" skirta skaitytojui, besidominciam traukinyje, kaip netiesineje daugiamaseje mechanineje sistemoje, vykstanciais procesais. The well-known energy-economic model of an induction motor is presented in the form of a predicate disjunction, to which we apply the pattern recognition algorithm for making decisions. The main advantage of the predicate model is openness and the possibility of accumulating knowledge about the operating modes of electromechanical equipment. The practical implementation of training, adaptation, minimization of the predicate model and the search on its basis for the best option for protecting an asynchronous motor in high-level algorithmic languages involves the processing of large amounts of data. It is shown that elements of predicate equations can be represented as a relational data model and use operations - algebras for its transformations. The transformation procedures are easily integrated into the information and software structures of the automated enterprise management structure, which use database management systems oriented to relational models.Item The Organization of Iron Ore Agglomerate and Pellets Production with Reduced Environmental Impact(Baltija Publishing, Riga, Latvia, 2023) Boiko, Maksym M.; Petrenko, Vitalii O.ENG: Purpose. The steady rise in the cost of traditional energy resources and their negative impact on the environment is leading to an increase in the share of renewable energy sources worldwide. The use of biomass for energy generation based on modern technologies is environmentally safer compared to the energy use of traditional organic resources such as coal. A significant reserve for increasing the use of energy from biomass is concentrated in the metallurgical industry, including the production of pelletised iron ore. Research has been carried out to study the impact of different types of biomaterials on the sintering process of iron ore and the quality of the resulting sinter. The study found that, provided that the process performance and sinter quality are maintained at the appropriate level, it is possible to replace up to 25% of coke fines with charcoal and up to 50% with walnut shells. An analysis of the use of sunflower husks as an alternative fuel was carried out by adding them to the already installed pellet firing system for the grate-tubular kiln-ring cooler installation. It was found that when replacing up to 50 % of natural gas with sunflower husks, the quantitative and qualitative indicators of pellet production remained at the baseline level.
